The parallel measurements for financial performance and carbon foot print taken on EuroDairy pilot farms, will provide insight into the potential impact of managing for biodiversity and farm profitability. The potential for the market value chain and other drivers as enablers of management for greater biodiversity will also be investigated, drawing from other actors involved in the supply chain e.g. milk buyers, farmer co-operatives, local and regional development agencies.
