Report of best practice performance potential on resource efficiency

Information derived from the network of pilot farms will be collated to determine typical performance levels under a range of circumstances, as well as the magnitude of improvements which could potentially be realized through the adoption of best practice and/or implementation of innovative techniques. Where changes can only be tracked over a longer period, for example, the impact of changing crop rotation or forage production, ‘what if’ scenarios may be run to predict the impact on resource efficiency using suitable decision support tools.
