Summary
The aim of T8.1 is to smooth and seamless integration of the TwinERGY solution with the wealth of the underlying components in a Smart Grid setup. In this context and under this premise, this task will develop a set of connectors/ wrappers that will ensure connectivity, communication and information exchange and flows from distributed assets, resources and systems (e.g. RES inverters, battery inverters, EV chargers and building systems/ devices via gateways). Such wrappers will be responsible for populating the TwinERGY Common Information Model with actual data for the different smart grid instances and components. Moreover the developed wrappers and respective APIs will enable the ingestion of real-time (data in motion) and batch data (data at rest) to the TwinERGY Core Data Management Platform in a semantically interoperable manner, through mapping between the distributed APIs described above to the Open API (and CIM) residing in the CDMP, thus allowing data feeds to the upstream analytics engines and end-users applications offered by TwinERGY.
