Policy Round Table (EU)/ Resume

The document summarises the findings of the Policy Roundtable which take place in Brussels, preferably during the Sustainable Energy Week in 2019. The workshop will focus on “Novel mechanisms for fair (socially inclusive) wind energy developments in the EU”. It is organized in close co-operation with relevant stakeholders (ETIP Wind, RESCOOP, EREF, BWE, etc.). Its aim is to discuss proposals how to strengthen the role of social acceptance and community engagement in European policies and to discuss the Guiding principles and criteria for fair wind energy development including an accompanying strategy for implementation (developed under Task 6.3).
