Workflow for adsorption experiments on samples at geologic temperature and pressure conditions

Because of the relatively weak affinity of gases to geological (natural) samples as compared to commercial adsorption materials, the work will initially focus on the development of an appropriate experimental protocol to achieve the required measurement reproducibility. By profitably selecting different vapors the possibility will be investigated of accessing pore space with distinct wettabilities, a feature that may prove to be particularly beneficial for the characterization of mixed-wet systems.
