Summary
Kinetic Monte Carlo and other multi-scale modeling approaches will be used to up-scale the molecualr modeling results of D5.1 and to allow a multi-scale quantification of fluid transport in cement. The same approach will be used to characterize the fluid behavior in host rocks. The model describing the transport of tracers in porous materials, and how it is able to reproduce experimental data from lab testing experiments, will also be described in this deliverable.
