Summary
Static adsorption experiments will be conducted by using different gases (e.g., CO2 and light hydrocarbons) and two different techniques, namely a gravimetric method (High-Pressure Rubotherm Magnetic Suspension Balance) and a recently developed imaging-based method that uses X-ray micro CT. Experiments will be performed using various rock types, including carbonates with significant microporosity, shale and cements.
