Validation of tailored satellite products

New (operational) satellite products which are not yet validated and tailored satellite data products will be assessed for their quality and validated using existing validation data sets. Satellite-ground and satellite-satellite comparisons will be made. Participants from this project will actively collaborate with validation teams from on-going missions/programmes and future missions to avoid duplication of work. Main focus will be on novel aerosol products, especially related to volcanic ash detection, desert dust and forest fires.
