Roadmap for regions

A modular roadmap for regions to implement PM including best practice recommendations Together with the input from WP2 WP4 and WP5 case studies the outcomes of the different workshops and webinars will ultimately allow to draw a roadmap addressing the specific needs in the different types of European regions to develop PM In consultation with ICPerMed and its partners in ERAPerMed and with the EU a summarising workshop gathering experts with different backgrounds from the Stakeholders Platform representing the different communities will be organised to crystalise from the WPs outcomes the basis for a modular strategic roadmap including recommendations on best practices to implement PM at regional level The roadmap should also take into account the different authority levels that are relevant for the implementation of PM This modular roadmap for regions at different levels of implementation of PM will not only serve as an inspiration for the regional authorities interested it may also serve as input for the next framework programme to bring PM to reality in all European regions This process will also provide input for WP4 on how collaborations between regions and cluster organisations academia industry and regulatory bodies could be improved and on needs for funding or investments through the appropriate financial instrumentsThe format of the workshops or webinars is to gather around 20 expert participants to discuss on the basis of a discussion paper fed with input from the desktops research and prior input from the experts
