Case studies of the field trials

The system will be extensively in the field to validate and demonstrate its performance under real operational conditions for the real-time measurement of fumigants and toxic industrial chemicals in cargo containers. Results will be correlated against reference off-line or on-line methods where available. Performance criteria including limits of detection, processing speeds, response times, ease of use of the instrument, etc. will be reported. This testing will involve parallel trials using the IRON system vs. current ‘best-in-class’ at-line and off-line analytical methods to validate the effectiveness of the proposed system for its ability to reliably detect low levels (ppb) of multi-gases in real-time.
