Summary
Networkbased approaches to modulation of brain plasticity and micrographia in PD using noninvasive brain stimulation In this part of the study we will include patients with PD and agematched healthy controls Results from taskinduced brain activation fMRI studies will be used and regions of betweengroups differences in brain activation changes in neural correlates of micrographia in PD patients will serve as our regions of interest ROIs for targeting an rTMS coil Using rTMS repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation over two identified ROIs and over a control site ie over vertex we will evaluate whether rTMS may be an effective tool to modulate handwriting impairment in PD
