Summary
Report on (i) participatory research methods in selected PS elaborating adequate risk communication models for the case of wildfire, (ii) professional support assessment for agricultural use of fire and (iii) review of legislative and regulatory aspects for reducing fire risk to reduce anthropogenic fire ignitions caused by negligence or accidents through improving interactions among citizens, public agencies and research. This report will aim to classify ignitions in two main categories of human caused ignitions: a) citizen-driven (i.e. individual) deliberate ignitions or accidental uses of fire, and b) operations-based (i.e. technological) ignitions along energy and transport networks.
