Report of FirEUrisk 4 Pilot Site Demonstration

The report will describe the context, evaluation criteria, the actions and results of the PS4: Mediterranean –Spain (Barcelona Province) concerning research products developed within WP1-4 from which a number will be chosen judged on their suitability for the Mediterranean European reality and stakeholders’ needs. Key focus- WUI, Forest and fuel management, Resilient landscapes Report on the implementation of the FirEUrisk novel and integrated strategy for holistic risk-based fire management in the Barcelona Pilot Site, addressing all phases of wildfire challenges: prevention, preparedness, response and restoration, particularly addressing the design of resilient landscapes through forest and fuel management at the landscape and WUI scales. Based on the activities carried out in the Pilot Site, guided by the standards and reporting requirements of D5.3, and by D5.5, this report will report on the application of the Project’s products, the results and subsequent analysis. The report will not only present the results of the research and application but also that of stakeholder involvement, providing both a quantitative and qualitative analysis.
