D4.4 (also WP4-T4.4): Design privacy-preservation and situation-aware consensus protocol for V2X broadcasting (M42): We apply mathematical modelling approaches to characterise the complexity and scalability of consensus approaches (e.g., PoW and PBFT) in terms of security, latency and communication overhead and analyse the false probability under various malicious and honest vehicle densities, and thus leads to a new design of privacy-preservation and situation-aware consensus protocol for V2X broadcasting, which considers both transmission and the verification of the block.
