Summary
The DMP will outline how collected, processed, and generated data will be handled during BEST-COST and after its completion, always pursuing data interoperability. It will outline: (a) how research data will be collected, processed or generated within the project; (b) what methodology and standards will be adopted; (c) whether and how this data will be shared and/or made open and /or can be easily found; (d) what legal, organisational and technical measures will be used to ensure its security and to safeguard the rights of individuals; (e) and how this data will be curated and preserved during and after the project. The existing ethical and legal frameworks (EU and national) applicable to the research activities in the BEST-COST project, in particular the use of health registries' data, will be reviewed.
