Design tools including power systems models, chosen architectures, protection systems and converters models and simulation procedures

The deliverable will present the design guidelines to define a DC shipboard power system on which test the innovative ESSs. As the test is case depending, thus important efforts will be spent in defining system architecture, as well as protections and power converters (DC-DC or AC-DC). A convenient procedure will be adopted to simulate the designed grid.
