Communication, Dissemination & Exploitation Plan

The CDP will include the publication of specific texts, which will be crucial for the dissemination both towards a scientific public and a larger non-scientific one:- preparation of a book, essays (at most two) for scientific journals;- organisation of a big international workshop, that will be organise on the University of Ljubljana (in collaboration with the Universities of Vienna and Trieste) on the 16th month of the project, at the end of the research period;- preparation of an itinerant exhibition about the birth of public health structures and rights, with a particular attention to the involvement of women, which could be hosted in Vienna, Ljubljana and Trieste;- connected to the exhibition, the organisation of free conferences for a larger public;- publication of articles on local newspapers;- development of a website with documental and iconographic materials from the research;- The researcher, in cooperation with the supervisor, will try to get in touch with the organising committee of “GO! 2025 - European capital of culture 2025 Nova Gorica-Gorizia”, in order to promote the exhibition and conferences about the past of a common and transnational public health structures between Gorizia and Nova Gorica.A collaboration with the mentor prof. Tullia Catalan from the University of Trieste will be particularly useful, since she is an expert in field of “public history” and has a great deal of experience in disseminating scientific knowledge to the wider society.
