Challenge test for demonstration of cleaning efficiency

Challenge tests are an already well-established quality control tool for recycling processes of PET materials, the existing approaches will be evaluated for PE and optimized, where appropriate, considering the specific diffusion and sorption properties’ (contamination and decontamination) behaviour of PE. The challenge tests protocols will be utilized for the demonstration of cleaning efficiency of the new recycling processes, including the delamination/deinking processes and the CreaSolv® process. The test procedure and the results will be reported. The outcome is linked to Task T4.3.
