Social innovation is a raising concept that considers as equally important the technological and non-technological dimensions of innovation. The objective of the AWARD series of 3 Social Innovation Factsheet (SIF) is to explain how the project 'results address key societal challenges (such as climate change impacts, water scarcity or regulatory evolving context). Each SIF will hence present all the dimensions of one AWARD innovative solution: technological, capacity development, governance and economics. The topics of each of the 3 SIF will be decided under the course of the project. D6.4 is the first SIF of the series of 3. This deliverable is linked to tasks T6.2 and T5.2.
