Summary
The open platform will be based upon the internal cooperative platform and used as a one-stop-shop for data, models and knowledge on fire risk and will allow communication, interaction and development of inclusive knowledge contributed by several sources. It will include a collaboration environment to facilitate exercises and training. The open platform will be able to display and process static and dynamic information related to fire risk, impact, adaptation and mitigation approaches. It will also integrate tools developed in WP2 & 3 as services in order to run interactively. It will directly relate to the contents and recommendations of the integrated risk-wise strategy for fire management through the provision of tools, maps, analysis services and training materials developed, tested and honed during the project run-time. The platform will host all data and metadata needed to validate the results presented in scientific publications via DOI links to public research data repositories, as well as other data and metadata that will be decided to become publicly distributed by the Consortium, as will be specified in the data management plan (D4.2).
