Regional ecosystems

Report summarising the information gathering from desk research: Regional ecosystems and frameworks for PM. WP2 entails the gathering and processing of relevant information concerning PM in regions: policies, research infrastructure, funding instruments, best practices of adoption, healthcare system, intra- and interregional collaborations, etc. To identify regional ecosystems and frameworks for research, innovation and adoption of PM. This will be done by means of: • Desk research: i.a. making use of the various databases related to regions and biomedical clusters (e.g. RIS3 platform, Interreg, Eurostat, Innovation Scoreboards, CORDIS, European Cluster Collaboration Platform, European Observatory for clusters and industrial change, etc.) • Interviews with existing associations/networks of regions, national and regional representatives in Brussels, ICPerMed members, running collaborative projects and partnerships, etc.
