Summary
Policy brief on barriers and needs interfering with PM implementations and how to overcome these
Identification of relevant stakeholders and their needs (M 6-21)
The inventory created in WP2 will identify the different regional stakeholders and will bring a general insight in the current state of play with respect to PM in these regions. To address specific needs to implement PM in different regions dedicated workshops are envisioned to get answers on specific questions. The issues, distilled from the analyses in WP2, will be introduced by ‘issues papers’ which will provide a basis for discussions during the workshops. In addition, feedback on these issues papers and further input from workshop participants will be asked prior to the workshops. The outcome of discussions in the workshops will be summarised in policy briefs that will be published on the website of the project.
In a first phase, workshops are envisioned on:
• Regional needs and barriers interfering with PM implementations; How can we address these?
• Identifying regulatory needs: what can regions provide? What are specific regulatory needs for different regions?
• The role of university hospitals and of regional hospitals
• Identifying specific needs in different regions and specifically in sparsely populated regions (North-South; East-West (EU-13))
• How to translate science in applications – industry involvement
